It was a grand display of culture, heritage, and unity as MTN Nigeria joined the people of Egba land to celebrate the 2025 Lisabi Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The annual festival, held in honour of Lisabi, the legendary warrior and liberator of the Egba people, brought together sons and daughters of Egba land from across Nigeria and beyond for a week-long series of cultural events and festivities.
As a proud sponsor of this year’s festival, which marked the 38th edition, MTN Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to preserving and promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. The highlight of the celebrations was the much-anticipated Egbaliganza, a vibrant procession that took place on Saturday, April 5, featuring a colourful parade of cultural groups, traditional displays, and performances showcasing the strength and unity of the Egba people.
