This Children’s Day, the nutritious BAMA mayonnaise collaborated with Chess in Slums Africa
(CISA) to give the kids an exciting Children’s Day Celebration. The exciting event took place at
the Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos Island.

The children gathered for a day filled with chess tournaments, cooking demos on making
perfect sandwiches, and interactive activities – all designed to empower them through the
power of play and good nutrition.

BAMA is the no 1 mayonnaise brand known for its creamy texture and delicious taste.
Committed to nourishing families, BAMA has a long history of supporting initiatives that
    prioritize the well-being of children.

Oreoluwa Atinmo, the Marketing Director at GBFoods said, "BAMA is a core part of childhood
nutrition and in partnership with Chess in Slums Africa (CISA), we are recreating nostalgic
moments, building beautiful memories, and nourishing young talents while fostering their
cognitive development through the game of chess. We are excited for this collaboration and
keenly looking forward to all we can do together to empower our future talents."

Chess in Slums Africa (CISA) is committed to uplifting children from underserved
communities through innovative educational programs. CISA firmly believes in the
transformative potential of chess as a key learning tool that can unlock the boundless
potential of youth living in urban slums.

Tunde Onakoya, the founder of Chess in Slums Africa (CISA) said, “Today is a good day as any
to celebrate kids around the world and for us at CISA, it’s a more special day to celebrate with
these kids and have them show their budding skills in chess. Some of the kids are
exceptionally gifted but can’t go on to do great things due to their circumstances.

However, we are changing that narrative and with the support and collaboration from brands like
BAMA, we are working towards a better future for each of these kids. This partnership has
been incredibly valuable, and we look forward to continuing our work together in the years to
    come.
