    • In today’s fast-paced business environment, many women-led SMEs struggle to move beyond survival mode. Cost of production and other factors have increased exponentially, and with a wider array of choices than ever, Nigerians are a harder target to attract and sustain as clients and customers. In a bid to provide forward-thinking solutions that will aid entrepreneurs in business management, MTN Nigeria’s Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) is set to host an exclusive event to celebrate International Women’s Month on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the MTN Rooftop, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos.

With the increasing number of women entrepreneurs in the country, this platform is crucial. Eight in ten (83%) women consider themselves an entrepreneur – a much higher number than the regional average of 51% across Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA). Among them, millennial women (86%) lead the way, outpacing their male counterparts (79%).

Some of the country’s top business executives – Lynda Saint-Nwafor, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, MTN Nigeria; Jane Egerton-Idehen, MD/CEO, NIGCOMSAT; Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, Founder and CEO, DO.II Designs; and Bolanle Tyson, Head, SME Products, Sterling Bank – will share insights on how women can leverage technology, build strong teams, and overcome market barriers.

The event, themed Scaling with “Impact: Strategies for Building Resilient Businesses”, will provide practical solutions and networking opportunities for over 250 women in business. As women continue to break barriers, equipping them with the right tools and knowledge is crucial for long-term success.

Apart from networking opportunities, attendees will stand a chance to win an all-expense paid mentoring dinner, participate in interactive Q&A sessions with business leaders and gain access to must-have giveaways.

You can register to attend the session and watch virtually on https://bit.ly/iwd2025event.
